Permaculture Tours: Forest Gardens, Natural Building & more

Embark on a journey through time and nature at one of Canada's oldest forest gardens, established in 1983. Explore a sustainable haven with a passive Earthship Greenhouse, Cordwood building, and Strawbale Studio. Wander the 1-kilometer native plant trail, experiencing three ponds, three wetlands, and over 1000 edible, medicinal, and native plants. From our one-hectare forest garden farmacy to a micro-mushroom farm and organic bee village, each evening offers tailored insights into diverse subjects. Join us for an unforgettable sustainable living experience, whether for a single evening or to witness the ever-changing beauty of the seasons.

Please Note: The group size is limited to 12 individuals.

Teenagers are half-price, and children 12 or under are free.

Shantree Kacera, R.H., D.N., Ph.D., is an internationally renowned author and teacher who co-directs The Living Centre Eco-Spiritual Education Sanctuary. With a doctorate in Nutritional Medicine, Herbalism and Deep Ecology,

Shantree is a trailblazer in permaculture; he applies organic veganic forest gardening practices. He designed one of Canada's oldest medicine herb gardens, with decades of experience working with soil ecology and forest gardening. He believes in creating a regenerative future.
