A Guided Journey Through Food Forests, Natural Systems & Living Design
For 45 years, The Living Centre has been growing as a living classroom for permaculture, natural building, ecological learning, and land-based regeneration. This guided tour invites you to walk through one of the oldest food forests in Canada, explore living systems shaped by care and observation, and experience how permaculture becomes real when it is rooted in place.
Along the way, you’ll discover five natural buildings, including our Earthship Greenhouse, and see how food forests, water wisdom, natural materials, biodiversity, and community design come together as a practical expression of earth-care, people-care, and care for the future. This is more than a tour, it is an inspiring walk through decades of living design, resilience, and relationship with the land.
