(Online 4-Week Series)

The plants have enough spirit to transform our limited vision.”
- Rosemary Gladstar

Plant energetics and the art of elemental regeneration is an approach to herbal practice that involves understanding the natural processes unfolding in wild areas and how plant communities interact with each other and their environment.

July 10 - 31, 2025

This immersive series invites you into the living world of Elemental Herbalism—an ancient yet urgently relevant way of seeing and practicing that rekindles our intuitive bond with the green world. At the heart of this approach is the recognition that plants are not just remedies—they are expressions of Earth’s elemental intelligence, shaped by and shaping the landscapes they grow in.

By attuning to the five elemental forces—Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Ether—we begin to read the language of the land. These forces are not only the architecture of the natural world but also the energetic framework through which plants offer their medicine. Understanding plant energetics through this elemental lens opens us to a deeper relationship with both the seen and unseen aspects of herbal medicine, where the health of our planet, our bodies, and our communities are woven into one vibrant tapestry of interbeing.

This experiential and interdisciplinary journey blends earth-based practices with time-honoured traditions, including insights from Ayurvedic Medicine. We explore how native plant communities function as medicine for people and planet alike, and how the rhythms of place—its cycles, patterns, and subtle shifts—inform the vitality and purpose of the plants that grow there. Learning directly from our bioregion, we’ll honour both the ecological intelligence of wild landscapes and the regenerative wisdom held in ancient systems of healing.

Through hands-on practice—working with fresh and dried herbs, preparing medicine, and engaging all of your senses—you’ll develop a living relationship with plants and the elements they embody. Whether you're a new herbalist seeking to care for your family naturally or a seasoned practitioner wanting to deepen your relationship with plant medicine, this series offers a layered, foundational path that integrates herbal wisdom with nutrition, lifestyle, and emotional wellness.

To walk this path is to remember that we are not separate from nature. It is to embody a regenerative way of being—rooted in respect, guided by elemental rhythms, and in service to life itself.
