    Shantree Kacera, RH, DN, Ph.D.

Ayurvedic Practitioner | Ecological Herbalist | Regenerative Educator

My journey into regenerative living began in my early years and deepened as a young adult living in ecovillages, where I experienced firsthand the harmony of community, the joy of caring for the land, and the subtle rhythms of regenerative life. Those years planted the seeds for a lifetime of learning, a practice that is lived in the body, felt in the heart, and guided by the Earth itself.

For the past 45 years at The Living Centre, I have built on those early lessons, weaving together Ayurveda, plant medicine, and ecological wisdom into a living laboratory of regenerative practice. The Centre has grown into both a sanctuary and a classroom, a place where reciprocity, regeneration, and vitality are not just understood but lived and shared every day with everyone who comes here.

To me, regenerative living is simple and yet profound. It is an immersive, lifelong practice. Every choice we make, whether connecting deeply with the land, honoring the elements, or nurturing community, is an opportunity to restore balance, vitality, and harmony for ourselves, for others, and for the Earth.

    Lorenna Bousquet-Kacera

Eco-Somatic Guide | Spiritual Ecology Educator | Founder of Shamanu Earth Wisdom

I bring five decades of experience guiding individuals through elemental embodiment, somatic reclamation, and spiritual ecology. As the founder of Shamanu: Earth Wisdom Teachings, I offer a unique blend of body-based intelligence, deep connection with nature, and heartfelt guidance that helps people fully reinhabit their lives with presence, power, and purpose.

My work is an invitation to return to the body as sacred terrain and to the Earth as teacher. By weaving together eco-somatics, ancestral feminine wisdom, expressive arts, and psycho-spiritual practices, I create spaces for deep listening, meaningful release, and a profound reconnection to one’s original essence.

I have walked alongside women and men across cultures and life stages, supporting them to live more truthfully, sensually, and soulfully. I offer not just techniques, but a living way of remembering who we are, why we are here, and how we can embody the life-force that flows through us all.

Stories of Transformation

  • “Their work is deeply rooted in decades of experience and embodied wisdom. Spending time with Lorenna and Shantree helped me see how every choice, from personal habits to communal actions, can support ecological and personal regeneration.

I left the retreat feeling renewed, inspired, and more connected to the living world around me.”
    Sonia K.

  • “Lorenna and Shantree’s retreat was a profound immersion into regenerative living. Their guidance opened my eyes to the interconnectedness of community, land, and self. Through ceremony, movement, and mindful practice,

I experienced a depth of connection and clarity that I carry into my daily life. I feel more grounded, vital, and aligned with the rhythms of the Earth.”
    ~Clara M.

  • “The community and rituals felt really genuine. I learned more than I thought possible in just a few days, and I keep remembering lessons in my everyday life.”
    ~Michele L.

  • “Lorenna and Shantree’s retreat is grounding, inspiring, and just… real.”
    ~Sophie T.

  • I’ve attended many retreats, but this one with Lorenna and Shantree felt completely different. It wasn’t just about learning or doing exercises. it was about actually living in a way that connects you to the land, the elements, and the people around you. I remember one morning sitting quietly near the river, noticing the birds, the light on the water, and feeling completely present for the first time in months.

Their guidance is gentle but profound, and the practices stay with you long after the retreat ends. I feel like I’ve brought home a new way of being, slower, more aware, and more in tune with life itself.
    ~Elena S.
