Shantree Kacera, RH, DN, Ph.D.
Ayurvedic Practitioner | Ecological Herbalist | Permaculture Educator
My journey into regenerative living began in my early years and deepened as a young adult living in ecovillages, where I experienced firsthand the harmony of community, the joy of caring for the land, and the subtle rhythms of regenerative life. Those years planted the seeds for a lifetime of learning, a practice that is lived in the body, felt in the heart, and guided by the Earth itself. For the past 45 years at The Living Centre, I have built on those early lessons, weaving together Ayurveda, plant medicine, and ecological wisdom into a living laboratory of regenerative practice. The Centre has grown into both a sanctuary and a classroom, a place where reciprocity, regeneration, and vitality are not just understood but lived and shared every day with everyone who comes here.
To me, regenerative living is simple and yet profound. It is an immersive, lifelong practice. Every choice we make, whether connecting deeply with the land, honoring the elements, or nurturing community, is an opportunity to restore balance, vitality, and harmony for ourselves, for others, and for the Earth.

Lorenna Bousquet-Kacera
Founder of Shamanuhe Earth | Deeptime Teaching | Permaculture Educator
My journey into regenerative living and ecosomatic practice began long before I knew it had a name. Working on fishing boats, exploring the wilds of the Yukon Territory in my twenties, and for the past 27 years, alongside Shantree, I have cultivated a living landscape at The Living Centre - a sanctuary and a laboratory of life where the principles of permaculture, plant medicine, and embodied wisdom converge.
I guide people into deeper connection with their bodies, the Earth, and the rhythms that sustain life. Through tending the land to designing regenerative spaces, leading rituals, and exploring the intelligence of the body, I have created offerings that honour the interconnection of all life.
I am a permaculture educator, an ecosomatic guide, and a witness to the transformative power of living in alignment with the Earth and with ourselves. I invite others to step into this living practice, remember their own intelligence, resilience, and creativity, and experience firsthand how life rooted in reciprocity and vitality can transform both inner and outer landscapes.
