The Journey
Our retreat begins at Las Brisas a serene resort near the stunning Playa Hermosa on Costa Rica’s west coast, where the sun, ocean, and delicious tropical cuisine prepare you for your journey into the Sacred Wild. From here, enjoy a scenic shuttle ride to the base of Diamante Falls, where you’ll embark on a 1.5-hour trek to the mystical Diamante Cave, where you will immerse yourself in nature's wildness and your heart for four transformative nights.
Affectionately known as ‘The Cave,’ this majestic overhang, carved by Central America’s tallest waterfall and overlooking lush rainforest, was once a sacred gathering place for the region’s Indigenous peoples. To protect its sanctity, a Costa Rican family acquired the mountain, ensuring its preservation and sovereignty. The potent energy of this natural sanctuary continues to inspire awe and invites profound spiritual insights, transforming your relationship with yourself and the world.

Days will be filled with eco-somatic and nature-connection practices, Ayurvedic teachings, hiking, sharing, and rest in Mother Earth’s embrace. 1. Deposit Requirements:
A deposit of $1000.00 US is required upon registration to secure your spot.
The deposit is refundable if the event is canceled before Dec 1, 2024, less a $100 admin fee, or the full amount can be transferred to another event.
2. Cancellation Policy:
45 days or more before the retreat: Full refund of any payments made (minus a cancellation fee of $200 US).
30 to 45 days before the retreat: 50% refund of total payment.
Less than 30 days before the retreat: No refunds will be issued.
3. Transfer Policy:
Participants may transfer their registration to another person up to 30 days before the retreat. Notification must be given in writing.
4. Special Circumstances:
A partial refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis in case of emergency or illness.
5. Retreat Cancellation:
If the organizer cancels the retreat, all payments will be fully refunded.
6. Changes to the Policy:
The organizer reserves the right to amend this policy. Any changes will be communicated to participants.

Your Guides
Shantree and Lorenna Kacera are passionate advocates of regenerative living practices and holistic wellness, deeply committed to empowering individuals through their teachings in Canada and Costa Rica. Their combined expertise and profound connection with nature have established them as influential figures in the realms of personal and spiritual growth.
As the visionaries behind The Living Centre, they have spent decades cultivating a deep understanding of the interconnections between humans and the natural world. With their extensive knowledge, they offer transformative programs, workshops, and mentorships designed to inspire positive change and foster a harmonious relationship with the Earth.
Shantree is a Herbal elder, an Ayurvedic Nutritionist, and a Constitutional Consultant. He brings a wealth of wisdom and practical skills to their teachings. His innate ability to perceive nature's intricate patterns and cycles has enabled him to design regenerative systems for the land and nourish communities. Through his teachings, Shantree empowers individuals to create resilient environments, landscapes, and lifestyles.
Lorenna Bousquet-Kacera is an Earth ceremonialist and Métis grandmother. With 50 years of experience, she embodies and stewards the inter-arts languages of Shamanu: Earth-Wisdom Teachings and WomanEarth. Lorenna is a certified Permaculture educator, a Work That Reconnects guide, an Ayurvedic living nutrition instructor, and an eco-spiritual lifestyle guide. She weaves eco-philosophy and cosmogenesis with eco-somatic embodiment processes, awakening the spiritual force that animates the natural world and ourselves.
Together, Shantree and Lorenna create immersive and transformative learning experiences at The Living Centre and in Costa Rica. Their collaborative efforts foster a community that embraces sustainable living, reconnects with the natural world, and nurtures personal well-being.
