Celebrations

The  special events  at The Living Centre are our way to honor with you the sacred journey and cycles of the year. Celebrations include an Earth Day Celebration, Full Moon & Potluck Celebrations, Spring & Autumn Equinox, Summer and Winter Solstice. Our Anniversary Celebration of the Centre, which also happens to fall on the Summer Solstice. This year the Summer Solstice includes the 26th anniversary of the Centre.  On the 21st. of September we celebrate International Day of Peace, which also happens to fall on the Autumn Equinox.

Earth Day Celebration

This day is your opportunity to inspire awareness of the Living Earth, to take action and engage in the Earth's environment and make a difference for future generations.

Earth Day Celebration takes us out of our day to day lives, out of our individual efforts, and remind us that together we are more powerful than when we stay apart; that we do indeed have much to celebrate."

On April 22 we all have an opportunity to pause, give thanks, honor and celebrate the life-giving generosity and abundance of our Earth Mother. Equinox & Solstice Celebrations

Long before the dawn of modern civilization,  rituals that marked  each phase of the wheel of life where celebrated at 'four quarters' - Spring and Autumn Equinox and Summer and Winter Solstice.  Both male and female principals were honored, God and Goddess, and each was given honor as the sun and moon entwined in their cosmic dance. International Peace Day

Join us as we join with individuals from 200 countries and over 50 million people who celebrate Peace on this International Day of Peace, established by the United Nations. There is so much going on for a better world that the mainstream media never shares. Many different movements for social change are beginning to converge into a global movement for a culture of peace.
